Translation of Physical Aspects of Women Image From Indonesian Into German: An Appraisal Analysis

This study discusses the translation of aspects physical image related to women in Eka Kurniawan’s “Lelaki Harimau” novel into German, and describes types attitude associated with women. Using Martin & Rose’s theory appraisal (2007) Molina Hurtado Albir’s techniques (2002), compiled grammatical items, lexical items or metaphors domains classify used translate image.
